SUBMITTING A PSA: KUER will select 6-8 calendar submissions from non-profit organizations to rotate on-air for a two-week period. PSAs are selected for on-air inclusion on the basis of community service and appropriateness for KUER’s audience. Because this is a free service to non-profits, on-air broadcast is not guaranteed. KUER reserves the right to remove material that is not conducive to FCC guidelines.

The 5th Winter Pop-Up Farmers Market is happening on Saturday, March 16th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and we have some surprises and special guests in store! Along with dozens and dozens of ready-to-dye (or fry!) eggs for Easter from Tifie, Clifford Farms, and Blue Spring, we'll have a large variety of produce from Mololo Gardens, Zoe's Garden, and Chad's Produce! This event is also a CSA Preview--meaning we'll have representatives from many of the Community Supported Agriculture farms and programs from around the state. Visit with each of them, and find the right CSA for you and your family! In addition, we'll have Kenyon Organics on hand so you can pick up seeds to start your own garden, and Urban Compost Systems will be on hand if you need help with your green waste. Lastly, Lorenz Mobile Sharpening will also be there, so bring all your cutlery! It's time to sharpen those knives and get to cooking fresh veg again. Wait, did we mention the FOOD TRUCKS? Yeah, they'll be there too. Plenty of free parking is also available.
