SUBMITTING A PSA: KUER will select 6-8 calendar submissions from non-profit organizations to rotate on-air for a two-week period. PSAs are selected for on-air inclusion on the basis of community service and appropriateness for KUER’s audience. Because this is a free service to non-profits, on-air broadcast is not guaranteed. KUER reserves the right to remove material that is not conducive to FCC guidelines.

Adam Gopnik, writer for The New Yorker, is the 2013 McMurrin Professor. His lecture examines two cultural icons born on the same day in 1809--Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin--and how the two men's ideas helped define the modern world.
