SUBMITTING A PSA: KUER will select 6-8 calendar submissions from non-profit organizations to rotate on-air for a two-week period. PSAs are selected for on-air inclusion on the basis of community service and appropriateness for KUER’s audience. Because this is a free service to non-profits, on-air broadcast is not guaranteed. KUER reserves the right to remove material that is not conducive to FCC guidelines.

Works by the great 19th century composer Robert Schumann are paired with miniatures by Anton Webern as well as the Utah premiere of Wolfgang Rihm’s arresting and dazzling homage to Schumann, Fremde Szene II. Violinist Claude Halter is joined by cellist Anne Lee and pianist Vedrana Subotic.
