Ivory-billed Woodpecker search is being scaled back (UALR Public Radio) - Researchers at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology have been spending their winters in Arkansas since a series of reported sightings in 2004 of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker. But this winter, after years of fruitless searching, Cornell is sending no full-time staff here.
