Obama to open Arkansas office on Saturday
The state Democratic Party announced Tuesday that Obama's campaign will open an office in North Little Rock on Saturday afternoon. The office will be located at 112 W. Seventh St.
Former Arkansas first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton overwhelmingly defeated Obama in the state's Feb. 5 primary. Obama hasn't visited the state since campaigning for Gov. Mike Beebe in 2006, and top Democrats have said they are encouraging the Illinois senator to visit the state before the November election.
