Arkansas Headlines
A fired up and ready to go Republican
(UALR Public Radio) -
Contrary to popular belief, not all young voters are supporting Barack Obama. Leslie Rutledge is a national officer with the Young Republican National Federation and she is fired up and ready to go make John McCain the next president of the United States.
For the second time in a row, Rutledge will serve as an alternate delegate for the Arkansas Delegation at this year's Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-Saint Paul. Rutledge was born and raised in Batesville, Arkansas, and she has been a Republican activist since she was a little girl working on her father's political campaigns.
FM 89's Malcolm Glover talks with Rutledge about her support for Senator John McCain in the 2008 presidential election.
