Two people are dead after a helicopter crash in southwest Missouri near the border with Arkansas.
Taney County authorities and the Missouri Water Patrol say a man fishing on Table Rock Lake saw the helicopter go down. The man rushed to the site and found the two victims.
The wreckage is in a remote, wooded area near the Long Creek arm of the lake, close to the Stone county line. The site can be reached only by boat.
No details about the two victims or the helicopter have been released yet. Rescue workers from several departments were on the scene Friday evening.
The Federal Aviation Administration also has been notified.
