Consulate opens for the Marshall Islands in Northwest Arkansas

(UALR Public Radio) - About six-thousand people who came from the Marshall Islands live in Northwest Arkansas. Most come to work in chicken-processing plants surrounding Springdale.

Now they have a new connection to their homeland with the opening Monday of a new consulate office. Jacqueline Froelich with NPR station KUAF has the story:
