Ark state offices open 2 hours late
Gov. Mike Beebe's office said Monday that the state's inclement weather policy was enacted, allowing employees two extra hours to get to work.
Beebe's office says state agency directors can authorize additional delays for workers who live in areas most greatly affected by the weather.
The Arkansas Legislature is to convene at noon today to begin a fiscal session to determine the state budget for the coming year.

Arkansas state offices are to open two hours after their normal opening time because of snow that has snarled traffic around Little Rock and the northern half of the state. Gov. Mike Beebe's office said Monday that the state's inclement weather policy was enacted, allowing employees two extra hours to get to work.
Beebe's office says state agency directors can authorize additional delays for workers who live in areas most greatly affected by the weather.
