State House members reject travel rule
The proposal was among several proposed rule changes from a group of Republican legislators that was rejected by the Democratic-led House during a meeting Wednesday. The House was voting on changes to its rules to prepare for annual sessions next year.
House members also rejected proposed rule changes that would have made it easier to require written votes before committees, and a measure that would have lengthened the time before a bill approved by a committee could go before the full House for a vote.
