The show was recorded before a live audience at UALR's University Theatre on May 21 at 7 p.m. The radio special, which is produced by KUAR, is part of the celebration of Arkansas Heritage Month and is made possible by support from the Arkansas Department of Heritage, funded by the 1/8 cent conservation tax, Amendment 75.

David B. Treadway hosted the program, accompanied by the show's house band Billy Jones Bluez and special musical guests Amy Garland and Kevin Kerby. There were also skits from The Invisible Radio Theater with Bob Hulsey.

The program will also be broadcast on KUAR on May 28 at 7 p.m. and again on July 4.
