If you look up Benjamin Franklin in the biography section of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, you'll find that the editors have condensed his life into four words: American Statesman and Philosopher. But even a four-page summary couldn't do Franklin justice. Beginning Sunday at the Springdale Public Library a traveling exhibit will examine the life of the writer, inventor, composer, politician and firefighter...yes, firefighter.
