OZARKS AT LARGE
(kuaf) -
Here is the contents of the May 25th edition of Ozarks at Large:
*We take a trip into the wild with Justin Nolan. His new book is "Wild Harvest in the Heartland: Ethnobotony in Missouri's Little Dixie." The book documents little parts of rural life that are fading away.
*Pea Ridge National Military Park will hold a weekend-long ceremony soon marking the historic battle at the Benton County site. We talk with organizers to get a preview.
*Denise Holmes is a pet behavior consultant and has developed a unique audio way to introduce pets in the home to a new member of the family...a new baby.
*Effron White has recorded a new CD, his third, titled "Paradiso Loco." He comes to play live in our studio. © Copyright 2010, kuaf
