USGS Proposing to Study Eureka Springs' Waters
(2009-08-23)
(kuaf) - Eureka's majestic Grotto Spring is an underground cavern. Pretty Sweet Springs across from the Post Office is flowing with flowers. And downtown Basin Spring first drew visitors in 1870.
All of Eureka's historic cold water springs are now the focus of a new federal scientific study to determine how to restore and protect them from pollution.
Jacqueline Froelich reports.
