The El Paso Society for Musicians of the Future (formerly El Paso Summer Music Festival), is sponsoring a unique concert at Carnegie Weill Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 22.
In coordination with concert harpist Grace Cloutier (http://gracecloutier.com/) and the Argosy Foundation (http://www.argosyfnd.org/) EPSMF presents , “Grace Cloutier, Harp and Friends.”
The concert reflects a story of "Perseverance & Triumph: A Journey through Music" in an afternoon of thought-provoking chamber music that explores a personal journey of sorrow, loss, reflection and redemption. It will feature The Etherea Vocal Ensemble as well as eleven other classical performers.
On July 10, EPMSF brings Grace Cloutier and portions of the Carnegie Weill Hall performance to El Paso, including international flutist Haley Rempel. This concert will be held at 7:30 pm at the El Paso Museum of Art. At this concert the winner of the EPSMF Competition for Young Musicians, pianist Jia Li (Janice) Diau will perform.
The El Paso Society for Musicians of the Future is a non-profit organization that promotes greater musical understanding in the border community through outreach, education, youth programs, and celebration with eclectic musical offerings and an emphasis on classical music culminating during the summer months.
