I-10 Collector-Distributor Lanes Project - Public Hearing
General Event Information
Dates and Times:
April 30, 6:00PM-8:00PM
The Texas Department of Transportation presents an open house at 6 p.m. and formal presentation at 7 p.m.
The purpose of this public hearing is to present the proposed design and results of the environmental studies.
The proposed I-10 project is the construction of Collector-Distributor (C-D) lanes and improvements to the interchange at Paisano Dr. (US 85). The proposed total project length is approximately 5.75 miles between Mesa St. (SH 20) and Executive Center Blvd. These improvements will minimize weaving movements and increase safety on the I-10 main lanes and interchanges. The I-10 C-D lanes will be constructed to the outside edge of the existing main lanes in both east and west directions connecting three interchanges. The existing direct connector at Resler Dr. and the direct connector at Sunland Park Dr. will be replaced with improved connectors. Improvements are also proposed for the existing interchange at Mesa St., Sunland Park Dr. and Executive Center Blvd.
