The Multipurpose Center is offering this new program to the sports community with disabilities, aiming to improve their quality of life through the practice of an organized athletic activity. The Special league will be of recreational nature, with three divisions based on team game level. The objectives are to increment their physical activity, provide socialization opportunities and build team, self-esteem and leadership skills; all of that, resulting in an improvement in their overall quality of life. 3 Division, beginning October 14. Game days: Mon & Tues, 6 – 9 pm for age 16 and over.
Pre-League Meeting: Tuesday October 1 6 pm @ Multipurpose Center, 9031 Viscount Blvd.
Other related Information: 3 divisions based on game level, 10 games guaranteed, referee (1 per game) and scorekeeper included. Maximum of 12 players per team. Awards: Trophies for 1st and 2nd. Place, T-shirts for Champions, Certificates for all players, for each division. First two games will be for classification purposes. Championship will be based on best win/loss record for the remaining 8 games.
