The Warrior Care Center - Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic, will host an open house in recognition of March as National Brain Injury Month. In recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, WBAMC has taken steps to increase awareness about TBIs, including prevention, diagnosis and treatment, while reducing the stigma for persons who seek care. Activities will include a demonstration of treatment modalities used to treat Soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injury. These include interactive metronome treatment, vision therapy, Dynavision, driving simulation treatment and therapeutic activities to help resolve the unique light sensitivity and vision problems experienced by traumatic brain injury patients. The open house is open to the public. |
