The El Paso Museum of Art, in conjunction with the Chamizal National Memorial’s yearly Siglo de Oro Drama Festival, announce a Lecture and Film Screening. The El Paso Museum of Art is presenting an educational and entertaining evening on Golden Age painting and a screening of the Spanish film "Lope," based on the 16th century playwright Lope de Vega. Dr. Michael Tomor, EPMA Director, will discuss artwork of this period from the museum’s Kress collection, and Los Paisanos de El Chamizal (a non-profit organization that supports programs of the National Park Service at Chamizal National Memorial) will have a short presentation and have graciously provided the film "Lope," along with the film screening rights. |
