It has been 2 years since El Paso-born-and-raised Nicholas Matta, aka Aux.78, has performed in the Sun City. A regular of the El Paso scene since 1995, and one of El Paso’s most prolific and experimental artists, Matta has always held El Paso as a muse and commonly held the city’s darker side as subject matter. Matta now resides in Portland Oregon where he continues to push El Paso music and has found a niche himself in the pulsating Northwestern city. Aux.78 performs a solo acoustic set alongside Emily Davis, The Dismissal, and Rafa Pistola. |
