The seventh annual 2013 Franklin Mountains Poppies Fest is an educational family fun event featuring a full program of nature walks, wildlife displays, educational exhibits, demonstrations, a live wolf, Houdini the Harris Hawk, a childrens activity center, music and food vendors on the 15 acre grounds of the El Paso Museum of Archaeology.
This event celebrates the marvelous open space in Northeast El Paso. Castner Range is a former artillery range known for its cultural, geologic and unique biology.
Vendors & Educational Non-Profit Exhibitors are welcome. Volunteers welcome, Sponsors and Donors are welcome.
Everyone must park @ El Paso Community College Northeast Campus on Gateway North and take the free shuttle service that will be provided from 9am to 5pm. NO PARKING AT THE MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY.
