(ksut) - HOST LEAD: A group of three 20 something year old men traveling across the continent drove to 48 states in 4 days, ending their long journey at the Four Corners Monument last night.

KSUT's Sarah Baumgartner has more.

CHEERS FROM PARENTS AS THEY COME IN.

SARAH: Jim and Sandra Keeler guide their son Josh and his two friends Joey Stocking and Adam Gatherum as they approach their final three states in their journey to reach all the continental48.

The men's goal was to complete the expedition in their decal decorated Scion in 5 days and in less than 120 hours. They're time?

JOEY: I THINK THE OFFICIAL TIME IS 106:43

The idea of this long excursion initially came from Josh's dad Jim and his friend. But due to a loss in the family and health issues Jim was unable to carry out his trip. 15 years later Josh, Joey and Adam, fulfilled and accomplished Jim's vision.

Their Scion is adorned with the sticker 48 states, 5 Days. 3 Men. After nearly 7500 miles in the car what are they looking forward to the most.

JOEY, JOSH: SHOWER. YEAH. SHOWER.

From KSUT, I'm Sarah Baumgartner.
