FEB 4 STORM CLOSINGS

(ksut) - A major winter storm in the Four Corners has resulted in numerous delays and closings. Here is a list of information made available to KSUT for Monday, Feb 4.

LOCAL OFFICIALS ASK THAT YOU AVOID ANY NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL TODAY (MONDAY) IF POSSIBLE, TO ENABLE PLOWS TO WORK. STUCK OR ABANDONED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.

BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICES:

AIRPORT:
*Durango/LaPlata County Airport is now open for all commercial flights. All flights for the afternoon are scheduled to depart on time. Please check airlines for further information.

BANKS:
*First National Bank of Durango, all branches closed in Durango and Bayfield.
*Pine River Valley Bank in Bayfield.
*All Bank of the San Juan offices are closed.
*First Southwest Bank.
*Wells Fargo Banks in Durango, Ignacio and Pagosa Springs.

BUSINESSES:
*Durango Adult Education Center.
*Child Care at the Commons in Durango.
*LORE International.
*RightWay Flooring America.
*Maria's Bookshop in Durango.
*Riverview Animal Hospital.

CITY AND COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
*Montezuma County Landfill.
*Social Security Office in Durango.
*LaPlata, Archuleta and Montezuma Counties, Government Offices, County Court and District Court offices.
*Durango City Offices (The Durango Recreation Center and Chapman Hill will operate)
*District Court Offices In San Juan County in Farmington and Aztec
*Durango Public Library.
*San Juan Public Lands Center.
*Forest Service Office in Bayfield.
*Non-essential CDOT Durango Residency Office employees should not report today (Monday).

HEALTH CLINICS:
*Mercy Health Services Clinic is closed today.
*San Juan Basin Health Department.
*Durango Family Medicine.

PUBLICATIONS:
*The Durango Herald will not deliver Monday's paper until tomorrow along with Tuesday's paper. However they will have some in downtown racks and at the Herald Office after 11:30am Monday morning.

UNITED STATES POST SERVICES:
Ignacio, Bayfield and Pagosa Springs Will Not Be Delivering Mail But The Downtown Offices Are Open.

TRANSIT:
*Durango Transit services will operate but 15-20 minute delays on all routes are possible with 2 city routes and 2 trolleys currently running.
*RoadRunner Transit is Not Running Today.

TRIBAL:
*All Southern Ute Tribal Government Offices. Administrative Leave Has Been Granted.
*All SUCAP and Head Start Programs.
*Southern Ute Health Center.
*SunUte Community Center.

SKI UPDATES:

*Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort Chair one will open at 9 backside of the mountain at 9:30. Check skipurg.com for updates.

ROAD CLOSURES:
*Wolf Creek, Cumbres-La Manga, Lizard Head, Coal Bank, Molas and Red Mountain are all closed with reopening uncertain at this time. See cotrip.org and NMRoads.com for current road conditions. Click on STORM CLOSURES for more information.
