Man Shot Outside Ritter's Office "Not Well"
(ksut) - THORNTON, Colo. (AP) _ Police today searched the home of the man shot at killed at the state Capitol Monday.
Detectives spent about two hours at the house in suburban Thornton and left with several cardboard boxes as well as about 10 brown paper bags filled with items.
Aaron Snyder, who had been trained as an engineer, lived at the house on a quiet street with his parents. The 32-year-old had been working as an intern at a Fort Collins company.
His mother told police he was delusional and one neighbor says the young man was kind and loving but QUOTE ``was not well''.
Neighbor Mary Annunziato said he never exhibited any aggressive behavior and wants people to know the Aaron she did.
Another neighbor, Doug Egge, described him as a ``nice kid'' who was interested in computers but would also sometimes appear to be in another world as he smoked outside the house.
Snyder attended Colorado State University off an on over a 14-year period, earning a bachelor's degree in 2005. He began studying for a masters degree in engineering but hasn't been enrolled there since last fall.
