Interim Durango City Manager Named
(ksut) - Durango City Councilors have selected current Public Works Director Jack Rogers to serve as Interim City Manager.
Rogers, who has been employed by the city for more than two decades, will assume the post August 2nd, one day after current city manager Bob Ledger retires.
Rogers will serve until a new manager is selected.
Councilor's indicated last night they are interested in retaining an executive employment firm, to conduct a nationwide search for a new city manager, a process that could take several months to complete.
Ledger announced his retirement June 4th after nearly 25 years in that position.
