Newest Four Corners Medical Facility Dedicated
(2007-04-06)
(ksut) -
HOST LEAD: The newest medical facility in the Four Corners has been officially dedicated.
KSUT's Victor Locke reports.

VICTOR: The Four Corners Medical Center, located on the Navajo Reservation near Red Mesa, Arizona, cost 64-million dollars, with $15 million coming from the Indian Health Service.
It will employ 215 full time staff.
The interior and exterior of the 118-thousand square foot building reflects Navajo Culture through architecture and artwork.
It will offer outpatient ambulatory care, a 24 hour emergency room, and includes 24 dental chairs.
Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley, Jr. and his wife joined council delegates, Red Mesa officials and about 500 residents and visitors in officially opening the Medical Center in ceremonies Wednesday.
I'm Victor Locke, for KSUT.
