An everyman type writer The Four Corners: One Book author for May is a roofer by day, writer every moment he can by Kinsee Morlan Durango, CO Rick Collignon, this month's Four Corners: One Book author as chosen by Maria's Bookshop, is the type of guy you would feel comfortable sitting down and drinking a beer with.

He's not your cliche pretentious author; instead, he's a down-to-earth guy who just happens to be filled with wonderful, magical stories.

In Madewell Brown, Collignon's fourth book, he tells the story of people trying to find their places in the world. Through paralleling tales of curiosity and exploration, he takes us on a trip to Guadalupe, New Mexico (a reoccurring setting in his books) and ends in the same place he himself began: someone sits down to write a book.
