The City of Tomorrow kicks off their Texas tour with a performance at St. Davidís Episcopal Church in downtown Austin. Join the woodwind quintet at Bethell Hall, Tuesday evening the 18th of February at 7pm, for a program of rarely heard pieces by Bouliane, Barber, Berio, and a premiere by Nat Evans. The City of Tomorrow brings forth a new vision of art imitating nature in these four works.
A leading wind quintet dedicated to the performance and creation of new music for winds, this all-star ensemble tours throughout the U.S. and Canada, now making their Texas debut. Members are Elise Blatchford, flute; Stuart Breczinski, oboe; Camila Barrientos Ossio, clarinet; Laura Miller, bassoon; and Leander Star, horn.
