History Museum presentation on Pearl White

As part of their current exhibit on the history of theaters in Springfield, the History Museum on the Square will host Missouri State University communications professor, Dr. Randy Dillon, for the First Friday Art Walk in August.

Dr. Dillon will speak on one of the biggest stars of the silent film era who began her career in Springfield, Ms. Pearl White. The presentation titled "Pearl White - The 'Peerless Fearless Girl' from Springfield, Missouri: The Perils and Parallels of an International Silent Movie Star" will be presented at 6:30 and 8:30 pm in the historic Fox Theatre.
