Baseball & Swim Shuttle to Beat Traffic Woes FARMINGTON, NM (ksje) - Two major events are about to begin in Farmington at roughly the same location.
The City says it has plans to manage all the competitors and fans heading to both the Connie Mack World Series that starts this Friday at Rickett's Park and the Western Zone Swimming Championships that will be held across the street beginning next Tuesday at the Farmington Aquatic Center.
Shuttle busses for the World Series will run each days from parking lots at the Farmington Public Library and the Farmington Boys and Girls Club.
The bus service begins each day at 4 and will last until 30-minutes after the last baseball game of the day has ended.
For the Swimming Championships: buses will run from the Berg Park parking lot on San Juan Boulevard each day back and forth to the Aquatic Center.
