Swim Championship Seeks Volunteers FARMINGTON, NM (ksje) - The Farmington Aquatic Center will be hosting the Western Zone Swimming Championships beginning August 7th
Organizers are expecting between 800- to 1-thousand swimmers to come to Farmington for the event which is part of the series of qualifying events for the next Summer Olympic games.
Farmington Convention and Visitor's Bureau Officials say the event will bring Farmington and the rest of the area lots of exposure to visiting swimmers.. their families and others
Organizers of the Swimming Championships say they can still use volunteers to make sure the event runs smoothly.
Everything from selling concessions to running the timers
The event runs from August 7th through the 11th.
