Former Husband of Murdered Woman Arrested FARMINGTON, NM (ksje) - The Kirtland man wanted in connection with the disappearance and suspected murder of his ex-wife is in police custody.
The San Juan County Sheriff's Department says they arrested 35-year old Anthony Delgado around 6 o'clock Monday.
Authorities had identified Delgado as a suspect after receiving a 9-1-1 call Sunday night from one of his children saying Delgado was hurting his former wife Nova Delgado.
Investigators say Delgado attacked his former wife Nova with a box cutter when she dropped off the couple's children on Sunday
Monday morning searchers discovered a burned car with the body of a woman inside investigators believed the body is that of Nova Delgado.
An autopsy is expected to confirm the identity and cause of death.
Authorities say Anthony Delgado called 9-1-1 Monday night saying he had been in an A-T-V accident
Authorities noticed cuts on his arm and arrested him .

He is facing charges of kidnapping arson and battery.
