Breaking News: Bartel to Leave Fort Lewis College in 2010

Fort Lewis College President Brad Bartel is leaving the school once his contract expires next June.
Bartel has been the President of Fort Lewis College since 2004.
School officials say Trustees first Chairman Doctor Peter Decker will soon begin search efforts to find Bartel's replacement.
Bartel has been praised by Fort Lewis officials for elevating the college's admission standards and at the same time increasing student retention, graduation rates and Native American enrollment.
