More Guard helicopters in Santa Fe? (Audio) SANTA FE (KSFR) - -- Elaine Cimino, head of Citizens for Environmental Safeguards, for years has been dogging the question of what she says are the National Guard's plans to base as many as 24 Blackhawk helicopters at Santa Fe's airport. The National Guard says, "Not True." And City Councilor Karen Heldmeyer says Guard officials did bring that possibility up to City Council where Heldmeyer voted against the proposal.
