"Riggs" may get special lunch (Listen)
(2011-04-08)
(KSFR) -
A Santa Fe cafe will be the site of a legislative-bill signing by New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez this morning. She'll be at Louie's Cafe on Galisteo Street to enact a law allowing pet dogs to join their owners on outdoor patios of New Mexico restaurants. State Sen. Peter Wirth of Santa Fe says he introduced the bill because of interest by pet owners to have their dogs join them in restaurants. Ala Jenson is co-owner of Louie's. She tells KSFR that the governor's dog, Riggs, just might get a special treat at the ceremony.
