Former state elections director unsure about outcome of his allegations (Listen again)
(KSFR) -

Forer New Mexico Director of Elections A.J. Salazar resigned abruptly earlier this year and with his resignation leveled a number of charges against Secretary of State Mary Herrera. His allegations include:

* Improper campaign solicitations of contractors
* Employees campaigning on state time
* Bias in investigations the Secretary of State's office was involved in.

Salazar opened his own law office in Espanola after her quit his $92,000-a-year state job. He says his office was burglarized in recent weeks and key files are missing.

He says both the FBI and the state attorney general say they're investigating his allegations. We spoke with him and State Attorney General Gary King about the investigations.
