PR man hopes to break the 'silence' of the Santa Fe Indian School (Listen again)
(2010-06-15)
(KSFR) -
-- First, it was a small forest of shade trees that were cut down over a weekend along a stretch of Cerrillos Road here in Santa Fe. Next, the management of the Santa Fe Indian School took down a number of historically significant buildings, with no explanation. Now, we're learning that a much revered outdoor venue for concerts is due to be torn down this summer.

Santa Feans have been asking what's up at the Indian School. Until now, they've said very little. But apparently the questions have become loud enough that they've decided to hire someone to say something, however little it may be. He's Ed Calabaza, a PR man of Indian origin who has a consulting company.

Bill Dupuy, KSFR's news director, talks with Calabaza.
