June 3 At Noon midday report (Podcast)
SANTA FE
(KSFR) -
-- On Wednesday's midday report:
*** We'll probe the question of whether Santa Fe's only public hospital is going to direct its medical staff to follow Catholic ethical and religious directives. The issue has come up again.
*** Some students with student loans thought their loans would be forgiven if they provided a certain level of community service. Why are they being surprised?
*** A new jobs program has been set up to help older workers find jobs.
*** Sounds scary. MONSOON season is almost upon New Mexico.
(Listen to the full program above or by selected segment below.)
Bill Dupuy previews the top story and talks with the head of the Southwest Women's Law Center about a "draft" contract ChristUS St. Vincent Hospital circulated among physicians who are employed directly by the hospital.
In part two of this story, we ask ChristUS St Vincent Hospital spokesman Arturo Delgado why the draft contract was circulated to hospital physicians.
