Update, April 22 -- PBS commentator Bill Moyers saluted KSFR, Santa Fe, and KPBS, San Diego, for taking stands against political ads on public broadcasting. Watch.
Public television commentator Bill Moyers plans to pay a tribute to KSFR on this weekend's Moyers & Company program on PBS.
Moyers says he will begin the program with an essay deploring a recent federal court decision that could open the door to political advertising on public broadcasting. Moyers says KSFR is one of just two public stations in the country to take a position against political ads.
The program airs in New Mexico at 5 p.m. Sunday on KNME-TV, Albuquerque.
