PNM's San Juan electric-generating plant in the Four Corners regions has been the focus of attacks by environmental groups as well as the EPA to reduce the level of pollution it generates. Specific proposals have been offered. Lower emissions by 80 percent. Or lower emissions by 20 percent. But there's a new wrinkle now.
The environmental group Wildearth Guardians based in Santa Fe is suing over the plant. And they're not suing PNM as the others have done. They're suing the EPA. Jeremy Nichols is with Wildearth Guardians and explains.
