-- It may surprise you to know that as recently as 34 years ago, the water Santa Feans get out of their faucets was pretty much the same water that was collected in the two reservoirs above the city. No treatment, no filtration, and an occasional floating insect. Much has changed since then. But the way nearly half of Santa Fe's water is captured is still done the old fashioned way. In two big reservoirs in the watershed high above Santa Fe. KSFR's Ellen Dupuy went for a look-see.
