Zogby: Udall with 8 point lead over Pearce SANTA FE (KSFR) - -- A poll just released by the Zogby organization shows Democrat Tom Udall holds an 8-point lead over his Republican opponent Steve Pearce in the race for the U.S. Senate.

This is a narrower overall margin than recent polls by other organizations.

The poll indicates that Udall's support among Hispanics is double Pearce's.

Zogby says the two are even among men, but Udall holds a solid lead among women.

Although Zogby just released the poll, it is actually several weeks old. Polls by other organizations before and after that time show Udall with a stronger lead. © Copyright 2012, KSFR
