Betty Jane Burlingame, Retired Speech Language Pathologist, Breast Cancer Survivor, Tresco Tots, La Clinica de Familia, Cowboys for Cancer Betty Jane Burlingame, Retired Speech Language Pathologist, was born in Silver City, New Mexico. Burlingame bridges the community with a new breast cancer support group for Spanish-speakers in a Community Forum on Tuesday, February 14th at 2 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center, West entrance, room B.
Diana Molina, Photographer & Writer, NM resident, Tarahumara photo Exhibit at UTEP, Director of Juntos Art Association Diana Molina, Photographer and Writer, was born in El Paso, and is now a resident of New Mexico. Molina bridges the border community with her photo documentary about the Tarahumara on her exhibit: "Raramuri, the Foot Runners of the Sierra Madre," at UTEP through May 5th.

Preciliana Sandoval, Owner & Operator of La Morena Walking Tours in Mesilla, NM; Artist and Muralist Emily Guerra bridges the community on this edition of PUENTES with Owner and operator of La Morena Walking Tours, Preciliana Sandoval, a self-taught Mesilla Valley artist and muralist. She has sold her work at the Las Cruces Farmer's Market and now sells her southwest art on the Mesilla Plaza. Some of her commissioned pieces of work can be found in Mesilla at the Happy Trails Bed and Breakfast. In 2002 she started La Morena Walking Tours because of questions from her patrons about Mesilla.
Fred Blanco, Los Angeles Actor/Writer, A Christmas Carol, No Strings Theatre Company, NSTC, The Black Box Theater Emily Guerra bridges the community on this edition of PUENTES with Los Angeles based actor and writer, Fred Blanco, bridging the community with a new adaptation of a holiday classic, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Blanco brings his one man version of the holiday tale of a lonely miser's story of redemption to Las Cruces from Los Angeles. His solo performance will be held at the Black Box Theatre in Downtown Las Cruces on Wednesday, December 7th at 7 p.m.
Rebecca Wiles, Chief of Interpretation, White Sands National Monument, 4th Annual Holiday Open House 02December2011 Emily Guerra bridges the community on this edition of PUENTES with White Sands National Monument Chief of Interpretation, Rebecca Becky' Wiles, bridging the community with their 4th Annual family Holiday Open House, Friday, December 2nd at the WSNM Visitors Center from 5-8 p.m. with 500 luminarias and New Mexico style dishes and refreshments.
Part Two -Tanzy Alexander Bird, Curator and Co-owner of the Gadsden Museum in Mesilla, New Mexico; the museum celebrated its 80th anniversary - Part 2 Part Two - Emily Guerra bridges the community on this edition of PUENTES with Tanzy Alexander Bird, Curator and Co-owner of the Gadsden Museum in Mesilla, New Mexico celebrating the museum's 80th anniversary. The museum is dedicated to Colonel Albert Jennings Fountain, and to five generations of family history. Bird tours the museum describing artifacts of The Hermit-Juan Maria Justiniani. The 80 year old museum is located in the Fountain family home built in 1875 in Mesilla, NM.

This year Mariachi Cobre will share their celebration of their 40th Anniversary at the Spectacular Concert on November 12th at NMSU.
