State Prepares to Implement Real ID LAS CRUCES, NM (krwg) - New Mexico is currently implementing Real I.D. measures approved in 2005. The real id act requires states to issue driver's licenses that meet specific requirements as an effort to fight terrorism and reduce fraud.
