Trigo Fire Crews Cautiously Optimistic LAS CRUCES (krwg) - Firefighters in Central New Mexico have been battling a blaze in the Manzano Mountains for more than three weeks now. The fire tore through the region scorching almost 14,000 acres and destroying 59 homes.
