LAS CRUCES, NM (krwg) - New Mexicans visit Broad Canyon in Dona Ana County to hike, bike, go off-roading or just enjoy nature. Recently, however Broad Canyon was added to a list of ten natural treasures that are at risk of losing their wilderness qualities. Environmental groups are pushing for legislative protection in order to preserve its wilderness qualities.
