Join the Astronomical Society of Las Cruces on a tour of the winter sky at the Leasburg Dam State Park Observatory on Saturday, January 25th in Radium Springs, NM. Explore destinations such as our nearest star, the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades, Jupiter and more using telescopes provided by the Astronomical Society and the observatory's 16 inch telescope.
Solar observation times are from 2:30 pm until sunset and nighttime observation times are from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, weather permitting. Entrance gate will remain open until 8:30 pm. Free to the public with appropriate park entrance and camping fees.
