Each episode of the Emmy award-winning series Independent Lens introduces new documentaries and dramas made by independent thinkers finding untold stories in unexpected places. Independent Lens: "Our Disappeared/Nuestros Desaparecidos"
Check local listings for broadcast times in your area. Independent Lens marks Hispanic Heritage Month with "Nuestros Desaparecidos." Director Juan Mandelbaum returns to his native Argentina to discover what happened to friends and loved ones who "disappeared" during the 1976-1983 military dictatorships there.
