A new survey of employers suggests Michigan may see more jobs coming on the market.

Employment services company, Manpower, surveyed businesses across Michigan and found many are planning on hiring this spring. Manpower's Daryl Thomson says it's the first sign that Michigan's stumbling economy may have hit bottom and is starting to bounce back.

"You know that professional side of the business, I think people cut back as far as they could," says Thomson, "We're seeing an uptick in business, and now we're seeing needs, immediate needs, where they need to hire people and bring people back, people with some expertise."

Thomson says Manpower saw an increasing number of employers looking to hire in Detroit, Ann Arbor, East Lansing and Grand Rapids.

He says Flint's hiring should be flat this spring, but that's at least an improvement after losses last year.
