One in 20 men and women born today will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer during their lifetime. Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States.

SoutheastHEALTH will hold an informational session on colon cancer prevention at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 in the Harrison Room at Southeast Hospital.

Southeast Gastroenterology and oncology staff will discuss how you can learn more about colon cancer, risk factors, and the importance of a healthy diet. Registration is necessary for this free program.
